Spotlight: Ledisi Covers Madonna’s ‘Borderline’

I stumbled across this yesterday on ledisi.com. Jody Watley has previously covered this Madonna hit, giving it a slightly electro-soul feel, however knowing how Ledisi does I was intrigued to hear what this would sound like given the full-on ‘soul’ treatment.

    Wow ! That’s simply gorgeous !!!! She definitely should record a whole album of Madonna’s 80’s classics covers. Do you know where this comes from ? Old or new Ledisi stuff ???

    Ooooh, I really really like this! Man, now I want Ledisi to come out with an album of pop covers. That was another great take of one of Madonna’s classics. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
