What’s New: Upcoming Releases

YRB

Ok so here’s a bit of a round-up of stuff i’ve seen/heard/come across the last few days:

  • After my disappointment that Yahzarah’s new album wouldn’t see the light of day this month i was pleasantly surprised to hear that a couple of new tracks from her were doing the rounds on the world wide web. Apparently both of these tracks will appear on The Ballad Of Purple St. James, which is now set for June 24th release (also Yahzarah’s birthday!). Take a listen and see what you think (no prizes for guessin i love them both).

Yahzarah – The Tickler

Yahzarah – Radio

As an added bonus check out this video of Yahzarah singing ‘Adore’ …

  • Talking of amazing female singers, news has surfaced that Ra-Re Valverde will be releasing the follow up to A Beautiful Mess later this year. Check below for a sneak peek of one of the tracks from the EP (courtesy of honeysoul). According to her myspace page:

THE BOOTLEG SESSIONS ARE SONGS THAT I HAVE LIVED WITH FOR A SHORT WHILE AND WANT TO SHARE. IT WILL INDEED BE AN EP W/ SOME SPECIAL FEATURES AND WILL INCLUDE *FLY AWAY (CAUSE SO MANY PPL ASK ABOUT THAT SONG).

  • To round off this ladies-filled update the talented Brittany Bosco sent me a DM to tell me about her new YouTube channel. Head over and see/hear the fantastic Ms. Bosco in action. I’ve also been informed that she is hard at work on her next release, Black, which should be released in the next couple of months. Here are a couple of my personal favourites:

Loving Yazarah’s new music and Ra-Re’s new track. I am beyond excited for both of their new releases. Brittany’s as well. Her fabulously packaged EP still cranks in my iPod.

I agree, i’m beyond excited about all 3!

I have Brittany’s 2 EPs in digital form but i NEED to get a physical copy of Spectrum, just for the packaging. So far though it dosn’t appear to be available in the UK.
